About the CABC
The Canada-Arab Business Council (CABC) is a Canadian chartered, non-profit organization, founded in 1983 in recognition of the importance of the Arab World as a trading and investment partner for Canada.
Supported by corporate membership, the CABC is the only Canadian non-profit association that focus exclusively on the trade and economic relations between Canada and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The council works closely with the Canadian Federal and Provincial governments as well as with the League of Arab Ambassadors in Canada – the Dean of Arab Ambassadors, currently H.E. Smail Benamara, Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, is a member of the CABC Board of Directors.
The CABC undertakes a program of events across Canada, we organize trade missions to the region, and we liaise with Canadian and foreign governments to discuss and influence policy issues of importance to Canadian businesses.
